Good morning! I had an interesting conversation about accomplishment with an old friend yesterday. He was asking how I had managed to get where I am today, despite many obstacles, hindrances, and setbacks that might detour, in his words, most people. I had never really thought about my life in those terms, so my answer was short and basic. “What’s the alternative?” I know now, and I've always known, that I would never be happy if I let circumstance win. I have dreams, ambitions, and goals that are more important than the obstacles that come my way. My devotion to my dreams is unwavering.
